Shipping Information

We have years of experience in shipping Worldwide, and this is what happens.

UK – Links are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery, so should be with you within a few working days.  The cost is the same regardless of the number of links you order, if they are ordered at the same time.

Cost for overseas shipping

Watches at different prices have different costs to ship, because of the insurance cover involved.  We use Royal Mail for sending our links on a tracked and insured service.  Here is a guide to help.

For Links up to £399

This covers the majority of our links for sale.  As a guide, please add £14 for delivery to your country with a 7-10 working day delivery aim.  If you need the link quicker, then we can use DHL Worldwide, which is an optional £42, but will be with you with a delivery aim of 1-3 working days

For Links or multiple purchases totaling over £399.

For most countries we use the DHL service outlined above.  If you are in a particularly risky country (e.g. warzone) then we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund you if DHL advise us not to send any parcels.

All parcels are sent insured, and tracking numbers are now sent automatically on all parcels.

From 1st January 2020 the UK is no long part of the EU.  There is no tariff between the EU and UK, but VAT may be applied at your local rate, just as it might in the rest of the World.  Local tax/duty is the responsibility of the customer and not birthyearwatches.com, and we shall not pay towards the cost of importing any items.  Please do not ask us to list the package as worth less than the purchase price.  In order for the insurance to be valid the correct value has to be stated on the parcels CN22/23 form, and we will always state the full value.
